Calling all talented teens and amazing conservation divers looking for a summer conservation mission because we’ve got an option just for you! Eco Dive is part of a regional network of coral restoration and coral nursery programmes run through the Reef Rescue Network RRN and the Perry Institute for Marine Science PIMS. This regional partnership spread through 5 countries in the Caribbean and over 50 nurseries is working with our endangered corals, with techniques and protocols backed by science, to help protect endangered and localised critically endangered species to increase biomass, preserve genetic diversity and strategically repopulate our reefs with healthy, reproductively active corals.
It’s a very cool plan, with some very cool people, doing some very cool work.
We are driven by a passion for healthy reefs, beautiful Grenada and the understanding that our nearshore ecosystems are consistently under threat and we are losing biodiversity and ecosystem functionality through compounding challenges every year. We also know however, that we have the knowledge to help so we are taking baby steps together in the right direction and building ourselves a solid foundation and a village of talent for scaling up and being the change we want to see on our reefs.
Through the support of our AMAZING Eco team, our guests, our DM interns and our volunteers we are out in the nursery every week maintaining, cleaning and growing our nursery. June 2026 is extra special as our ACER babies are now ready to outplant and we are able to get healthy corals that have been growing in a protected space for the last 13 months back out into natural reef spaces! This however takes many hands and many days so we were thinking some of our divers might enjoy joining us in giving back this summer … sounds good to us! What about you?
