With a new camera’s first trip down under we took some pictures off the beach in front of Coyaba Beach Resort while snorkeling and duck diving. A good first start, and a complementary option for all Coyaba Beach Resort guests.
Most of the near shore area looks a lot like this:

BUT – The vast open spaces encourage juvenile and schools of fish to congregate around the interspersed coral outcroppings.

Squirelfish own this territory under an overhang on another coral outcropping, with one Grunt for good luck.
