Shark Reef – Fantastic Dive! …. pictures
So a group of advanced divers headed out with the plan for Hema 1 and Shark Reef. Well, the Hema 1 was a miss with strong currents we crawled along the bottom long enough to know we were close but not making it then did a long blue water ascent. But, shark reef was in fine form to make up for whatever we might have missed. Started with a free swimming nurse shark pup, followed by lobster clusters, spider crabs, a big nurse shark, southern sting rays and a friendly Hawksbill turtle. We were under until the air ran out and came up a very happy bunch of divers!

Wow Christie, awesome pics! I’ll be leaving in 2 weeks for Utila, Honduras and if I’m lucky, will be snorkelling with whale sharks! I can’t wait!
Might come see you next year.

Great to ‘hear’ from you! Whale sharks, now you are just trying to make a girl jealous, but wait … I am too lucky to be jealous! It would be great to see you next year and especially in Grenada, so much new stuff to show you!
All the best and take care of yourself
Live it up!
Great to see our last dive of the trip made the website! Thanks for a GREAT time, Christine!
When is the whale shark season in Honduras and Belize? I seem to remember April? Can you see them at other times of the year too?
