“Best dive operators in Grenada”     Reviewed May 2, 2011

I live in Grenada, and dive with eco dive on a regular basis. The whole team there is excellent. Christy, the owner, is very good at finding all of the really cool small things most people swim right over. Turbo, the captain is not only very capable in running the dive boat, but is also a very good dive master as well. The rest of the team is also very helpful when it comes to loading the boat and assisting with gear. They now have a new booking office at Port Louis marina which is makes it great for if you are on a yacht

We’ve been diving for a looonnngg time and this in one great dive operation. Very laid back, very attentive, safety oriented and allows divers to dive their skill levels. This is not a cattle drive and the number of divers is limited [6]. If level of diver skills is varied, Eco Dive splits the group so that you are not diving to the level of the least experienced diver. This helps both experienced and inexperienced divers in terms of not only enjoyment but also confidence building experiences for those new to diving. — Dive masters let you dive your profiles and do not herd everyone back to the boat based on the diver who maxes their air in the least amount of time. All of our dives, except for the deep wrecks, were at least an hour. Here’s the real kudo for Eco Dive: many of our dives were my spouse and me plus locals. That says a lot. If locals choose this dive operation that means that you really can dive your profile. Another plus is that you are dealing with only a 5 people: Christine, who is easy going, professional and flexible — and by the way, responded to my emails promptly. DM’s / boat captains are interchangeable so you are working with 2 of 4 people: Marlon; Ron; Adrian and Curry, all of which are great. These guys are not your burned out DM’s. They were just as interested in finding new critters and exploring the deep as the rest of us. So, bottom line, they’re as enthusiastic as the rest of the divers. We had a great time with them and hope you will too if you choose them. We recommend that you do.
